In 1978, visionary William T. "Bill" Ylvisaker changed the landscape of South Florida forever when he created the region's very first polo fields in Wellington, introducing the sport and a way of life to a community that would never be the same.

At the Center of Wellington’s Rise
As private polo fields flourished across Wellington and Palm Beach through the 1980s, the region evolved into a world-class stage for high-goal competition. Throughout the 1990's the rise of international show jumping and dressage cemented Wellington’s reputation as the equestrian capital of the United States.
With the 1993 purchase of Palm Beach Polo & Country Club by local developer Glenn Straub, the property entered a new chapter, transforming into the luxurious residential community residents call home today.

The POA is led by a nine member Board of Directors, with 2 Directors elected by each Asset Class, and one Director appointed by the Declarant, Glenn Straub. Working on behalf of property owners, the board is committed to maintaining the beauty, integrity, and standards that define the community while supporting thoughtful improvements that enhance property values and quality of life for all residents.
