Diane Hodges

 

Diane Hodges is a registered art therapist and a registered poetry therapist and practiced spent most of her 30 year career practicing with hospice patients and their families. For the past 7 years, she has been Executive Director of The Delaware Cultural Arts Center (“The Arts Castle”) in Delaware, Ohio. She has served on various boards and chaired a number of fundraisers/special events including bringing the Budweiser Clydesdales to Delaware. 

 

Diane and her husband, Ralph, have been coming to Wellington since 1989 and been residents in the Polo Club since 1991. Diane has trained and shown in dressage for over 30 years and loved horses her entire life. She has attained her bronze and silver medals and is two scores away from receiving her gold medal in dressage. Diane and Ralph co-own Bespoke Farm in Wellington with trainer Ruth Hogan Poulsen. 

 

While spending winters in Wellington, Diane has taught art to children at Vinceramos and been involved with the Challenge of Americas which benefits Breast Cancer Research and had her equine sculptures exhibited at various local galleries including Gilesa Pferdedampe Studio. 

 

Diane and Ralph were involved with the Council of Presidents prior to the POA turnover. She was elected to the POA board in 2013. She chairs the Communications Committee. 

 

Diane’s interests include writing, art, music, photography, gardening and giving back to the community however she can.
